Tony moved from Virginia to Nashville in 1991. He was in town only 8 months when he landed a writing deal as a full time staff writer with Pride Music Group. After a short time he got his first cut, "Aint that just like a Dream" recorded by Tim McGraw. The CD has sold over 6 million to date. Tim McGraw also recorded "All I want is a Life". It was the title cut of Tim's CD, "All I Want". In 2000 Tony's song "How Forever Feels", recorded by Kenny Chesney, won song of the year and was the most played song on the radio. Tony landed two new songs on Rascal Flatts new CD, "Me And My Gang" (the title track) and "Backwards". The CD sold over a million units in the first two weeks.Tony has songs recorded by LeAnn Rimes, Kenny Chesney, VanZant, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts and Lonestar. Tony has over 800 songs published in his 14 years as a pro writer and is also in a co-venture with Universal Music. He is currently building a song list for his own publishing company, Mullintone Music.
